I actually graded a test the same day they took it. And it was not multiple choice. AND it is a quiz I absolutely HATE grading because it usually gives me a headache, but not this year! They understand how to do long division! YAY!!!!!!!

It feels so great to get tests graded the same day. I don’t get that feeling often…
yay kiddos
If you don’t grade within a couple of days, how are you going to know how and when to reteach and retest? I’m just tired of hearing that at our school. Sorry.
Because I’m a genius. KIDDING!!!
I do a lot of ongoing assessment (seriously, I don’t know how I ever taught without little white boards for the kids) so I have an idea of how they’ll do before they even take the quiz. Well, except for last year.
I was actually hopeful about this division quiz which is why I wanted to grade it. In math we have a whole week at the end of each unit to reteach.
